FOOTY starts again January 9th

Hi All

 

Sorry about the late notice but there will be no training or match this week as we head into Christmas festivities.

 

We start again with training on January 9^th and a home match to Blacon Youth Tigers on the 10^th.

 

I appreciate there have been quite a few cancellations in recent weeks so that players have been out of action for a while. Let’s hope the New Year brings us better conditions.

 

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

Dear Parents-of-budding-footballers

 

Next match is a Pool B match against Malpas Reds.

 

They have only lost two games this season: to Newscene (possibly the strongest side in the league) and that Newton team we lost 17-0 to (they only lost that on 4-2).

 

So we could be in for another stormy ride.

 

Also apparently it is going to be cold so please get the kids to wear thermals or t-shirts under their kits and bring track suits for when they get subbed.

 

For those who were not there last week… we WON !!!

 

Yes it’s true. We won our first match.

 

All obviously down to fantastic coaching and strategy.
